Cromarty Image Library

Just playing with other ways to view the site - have a look at our new view 500 thumbnails page - might take a short while to download. It's a bit flaky in Internet Explorer at the moment, but should work well in other browsers though you might need to refresh the page once.

The Google Streetview car visited the town in July of 2008 and the pictures it took are finally visible on Google Maps. This image shows the results of a horrible accident involving the car and a local cyclist on Marine Terrace. (It may take a few seconds to load fully!)

We don't like to blow our own trumpets, but we're proud to say the the Cromarty Image Library has just published its 5,000th comment to go with the 2,356 pictures on the site. Not bad for a small town like ours - wonder when I'll be adding a story about the 5,000th picture?
