I still have the original plans of this Church in my possession, safely rolled up in my drawing office here
in Nairn. The original design has been changed from what was envisaged. Where the 'flat roof'
exists, a further 20'-0''of stonework, and gargoyles, surmounted by a 10'-0'' spire was intended, but even at that time (November1905), money was in short supply to complete. The plans were given to me by my late employer, of the 1950's J Alistair Ross, Architect, son of Dr. Alexander Ross, designer of the Episcopal Church, Inverness Cathedral, and many other Highland Churches. The original plan, on linen, is signed ''Ross & Macbeth, Architects, Queensgate Chambers, Inverness. Nov. 1905''
