Ben in the top row is Ben Wilkinson - used to live at the Thistle restaurant. Between Emma Wylie and Steffi is Graeme Anderson.
The boy to the left of Laura Hogg is Stevie Thompson. Gemma's surname is Patience, on her right is Martin 'Chunk' MacIver. The Claire to the left is Claire Mackay, now Munro, and to her right is Claire Shelly. Then it's Steven MacIver. Still on that row Philip's surname is McGovern, and to his right is Corina MacFarlane. Yes Flora I remember my Mother and my granny talking about George and Isa Thomson. My Granny was Mrs C Mackay Jemimaville and my mother was Isabel Mackay So when I saw Williams name I had an idea albeit vague of who he was what are his plans in life? whatever they are I hope he achieves them

Thank you for your reply to my comment and your thanks. William is off to Oz on 04/10/08 to experience the harvest out there . He starts in central Queensland and works his way down to Canberra, only 20, 000 acres to harvest so he will be busy I think . All good experience for him and his boss is called Tim Ross suspiciously Scottish sounding to me but sounds a very nice chap from the telephone conversations I have had with him . William returns on Feb 28 next year .Will try and keep you posted on his progress .

Its actually quite amazing how many children from this photo have gone on to achieve highly in life. A huge amount of people with degrees and many other achievements whether its in their education or work endeavours. Cromarty Primary School should be very proud.

Up-date on William in Oz....Weather good had some rain, just like home. Waiting to start harvest looking at crops just now barley wheat osr no dramas yet apart from a smack on the eye brow with a wayward airline stuck a plaster on and got on with the job one hardy Black- Isler .....
