I think you are wrong Margaret, my grandad William Ligertwood was from the Aberdeen area, it was his wife Helen Margach that was from the Edinburgh area.

If you guys type in William Ligertwood Foveran Aberdeenshire you will get quite a bit of info of my family from that area... takes you back to the 1600s

Margaret, aunt Jean did work in Edinburgh and stayed with our aunt, that was why you probably thought that.
