We were from the left, Davie Nicholson, Albert Larne, Jack Young (the grieve), Gibby, Hughie MacPhee, Bobbie Williamson, Davie Finlayson, and Bright Gordon
Davie and Albert were tractor Drivers. The rest of us were on the machine and picked the tatties from the stones. We were lucky if we lifted 1 acre a day. It was slow or slower. This picture was professionally taken and used as an advert: for Farming News

Hello Bright, If you recall Brenda & I visited you at Rosefarm in 2006 while tracing my family tree as I believe my Great grandmother worked at the farm. You were such a good host to us and we have great memories of our visit. I feel that Rosefarm is a part of me and love to see the photos you post. Please feel free to contact us.
