When my father came to Cromarty in 1938 to work on the Sutor Forts WW2 refurbishments his digs were in Forsyth House with Mrs Slader. My mother still refers to this as The Fountain Brae. When was the fountain moved to it's new location? I can't remember it being outside Forsyth House, mother tells me it was moved beacuse Mrs Slader reversed into it several times in her car, is this true?
