Nice to hear you are still around Clem. Your dad looks good in his uniform. We all knew him as the caolman. Last time I saw you was when you took Veronica and me to a party in Rosemarkie and very nearly lost it in the fairey Glen just before the bridge. It was snowing a bit at the time.

Yes Hamish, I remember that one too, severe snow, in Cathel Mackenzie's green Shooting Brake, steering wheel gear change, going downhill towards the Rosemarkie bridge. First attempt on a bad surface, using opposite lock to straighten. I picked up the hub cover some weeks later when cycling home from Kessock.

I have very fond memories of myself and my cousins going to Invergordon on the boat with Albert and not caring how rough the sea was. Our summer holidays were spent having a wonderful, carefree time in Cromarty.

I fondly remember Albert, James Hogg, Harry Gorge (knarsik) (if ispelt his name right), used to help on the 4.30 ferry run to Invergordon through the week and 3 runs on saturday. Harry fell overboard one day half way up the firth. We accused him of trying to poach salmon jumping close by.
