West Church - c1930

Taken before the fire of 1932 which led to the moving of the bell tower from the peak of the roof to one of the side towers.

Note the Gaelic chapel with roof in the background, the sandstone wall to the right of the church and the field of vegetables in the foreground where Bayview houses are now.
