Church St in the Snow

Part of the Cromarty Boot & Shoe Shop sign has become obliterated by the snow, or perhaps snowballs thrown by the two lads.

I love this picture, which shows Granny Chapman's house and shop - and I can remember when the snow was this bad (although obviously not on that particular occasion!!). I notice that this picture is the same one (but slightly better quality) as 1047, posted by Garve! One is shown as 1920 and the other as 1905.
