Newspaper cutting saying "Medal for Cromarty Navyman. At a recent Investiture at Buckingham Palace, Leading Stoker Donald Hogg, HMS Exeter, received the Distinguished Service Medal. A son of Mr Wm Hogg, 76 Big Vennel, Cromarty, he is married and his wife resides at 34 Upper Kessok Street, Inverness. He is 20 years of age."
