These soldiers uniforms date from the 1880s, I would suggest.

I am pretty sure this is "Cromarty's Artillery Volunteers Corp" Part of the Highland Volunteer Artillery Regiment which was raised in the 1860's. The spike on the helmet was not used by many regiments during this era.
