Taken at the top of Allerton Road, Ben Wyvis seen over the top of cloud in the firth. Driving towards Cromarty it was thick fog from the top of Rosefarm.

I was born on Allerton Farm in 1945. My grandparents were Willie and Annie Beattie, my mum was Alice Beattie and William was her brother. I remember very happy times there as a child. My mum and I visited Allerton a few years back and were in the house where I was born. Sadly she has since died, but it was lovely for her to visit there again.
