Snowfall at the harbour

Snowfall at the harbour

Date Added: 23 March 2006 Contributor: Colin Dunn Year: 2006 Picture No: 1583

The winter of 2006 has had more snow than I can remember in 30 years, with three particularly heavy falls in the last few weeks. This is a shot taken late at night on 22nd March. Snowfall was steady, but there wasn't a breath of wind, and the snowflakes were highlighted by the floodlights at the boat compound.
(Looks like the lights need adjusting down a bit, though - most of the light seems to be going into the sky instead of the compound.)
