This picture won First Prize in the Moray Firth Partnerships photo competition, I'm pleased to say, and can be seen in a exhibition in the Eastgate centre Inverness for the next few weeks.

simply a stunning photo. Emphisis on the shear size of the platforms that used the sheltered waters of the cromarty firth. Do rigs and platforms still come in to the firth? I've moved south to Carlisle. I still remember the platform leaving the firth in 1983.
