The Crane Barge Rambiz with Wind Turbine No 1

The Rambiz departs the Cromarty Firth with the first Beatrice Wind Turnbine. The light was very flat and dark, so a Black and White shot was the best way of capturing the dramatic structure.

Great shot Calum. This would make a wonderful poster or picture framed, particularly with the great lighting and the reflection in the water.

I was up in Caithness today - you can see the wind turbine clearly from the A9 at the Ord.
