I think front left was in fact Cathleen Robertson not Catherine?

Boy in the centre at the back is James Riddle who went on to become pipe major in the Scots Guards famous for writing TUMBLE DOWN MOUNTAIN pipe tune. I think he married Pauline Gilmour who is sat in the front row of this picture. James lived at the chicken farm on the sutors.

I think the girl in the middle with the glasses is Patricia Davy, the girl at the end is Helen Bremner and the boy at the back next to James Riddle is David Bremner.

I can confirm that the girl on the front far left is my Sister Helen Bremner I too would place this picture around 1956. She now lives in Ontario Canada.

The handsome young chap seventh from the left is my uncle, David Bremner, who left Cromarty with my mother Carol and their parents, Jackie and Margery not long after this picture was taken. James, is Helen at the end of the row on the right?

I think the girl on Pat Davies right is Varri (sp?) Marks? Does anyone know where Patricia Davies is? We were good friends.
