What lovely Memories from Mrs Newell ..it was nice to see her and speak to her on my visit back in June 2006 ...A really Lovely Lady !! And nice to hear her voice again ! XXX

Oh man! Is this Mrs Newell the primary school teacher (and church organist by the way!)? I absolutely owe anything I have achieved in life to her, 'Hairy-Harry' the headmaster ... and ... yep ... even Miss McKay or 'Kisey-Kipper' to those who knew and feared her! Ha ha. Had the honour of meeting Mrs Newell on our visit in August 2010 to Cromarty. She is 102 and didn't look a day over 80! She was telling us how she used to play as a child in the yard opposite her home which is now a Masonic Lodge. Comment left on 07 September 2010 at 14:15 by Mrs Ronni Norris
