View from top of the Denny - 1977

This picture was taken from the edge of the field which now contains the houses of Urquhart Court. The 30mph sign at the top of the road can be seen at the right of the pic. At this time the road had high banks to left and right. The road runs between the two field in view. The further field is now the 4th graveyard at the Gaelic Chapel.

At Nigg it looks like the BP Magnus plutform under construction in the dry dock. The pipemill can be seen on the left as the huge fab shops are not in place yet.
