This is a well taken photograph, Cromarty is going up-market now with real fishing rods?!! I remember Angie Morrison taking skoo fulls of mackerel, with a long, self sprung, silver birch sapling, ripping, and taking ashore six at a time! Evan the Post used 12 flys at a time made from white feathers. His rod was a 12ft bamboo cane from DR's (from the centre of carpet rolls) with a small cane added on. Comment left on 28 July 2007 at 09:49 by Dennis Manson
