As a child I remember meeting a Mrs Dunstane, who was the widow of a teacher or headmaster at Cromarty School, but I have no idea what years he would have taught there, perhaps someone can recall the name?

Is there anyone out there who would recognise Jessie and/or Maggie Munro who taught at cromarty school around this period?

A relation of mine, a Jane Young Hay, was a teacher at the school in 1901. She is on the 1901 census, and is lodging at 47 Church St, with a Mr Mackenzie and his family. Mr Mackenzie was listed as a retired teacher.
