Shore St. This tiny cottage at the bottom of the Big Vennel was probably pulled down in 1964 as part of the efforts to clean the town up before the Queen's visit. An earlier view can be seen in picture #264, which also shows a house on the left.

This picture must be taken after 1968 because in the background Shore Inn Cottage has been refurbished this was not started until 1968.
