These posts need to be in a blog and shared with those who are interested in this person.

Create a blog, Flora and William

Hi Margaret. Thanks for your comment. Obviously I'm not as hi-tech as you as I don't know how to do this blog thing. Will have to find out how to do it. Comment left on 09 December 2008 at 23:26 by Flora
We disagree, we are very much enjoying reading them here Flora. We believe the site is for the people of Cromarty, is it not? Keep them coming. Comment left on 10 December 2008 at 15:07 by The Tipper Fan Club, Cromarty
Margaret - William was born and brought up in Cromarty, so I'm sure there are many people who would be interested to know where and how he is getting on in OZ. As these postings are attached to his picture I can't see where there's a problem. Comment left on 10 December 2008 at 22:14 by Hazel Pendle (nee Maclean)
There is no problem!

I simply made my suggestion because the postings on this topic already naturally lend themselves to a blog.

A blog would achieve the same purpose, which is to provide information on someone and update it.

A blog can have pictures and it is also interactive in that people can leave comments, ask questions, etc.

I think a blog would give added value to the topic.

That's all I was thinking!

Hi Flora
I can see where Margaret is coming from a blog would be better for you, the family and Tipper's many fans. If people started putting, as good and interesting as it is, things like this on the site. I personally would think this could take away from the (CROMARTY IMAGE LIBARY)

Tipper will be, or should be, creating a blog to satisfy your drooling.

Then you'll not be drooling on the Cromarty Archive website

He's different, doncha know!

I get the feeling that some people are not wanting to hear how a local lad is doing for himself since graduating which I think is a great pity. Locals or otherwise should be proud of what William has done, I know I am, and that he is promoting the name of Cromarty on the other side of the world. This thread is now closed. Whilst we are certainly keen to show Croms here along with their achievements, and Flora is quite rightly proud, Margaret and others are also right in saying that using this site as an ongoing diary isn't what it was set up for. Social networking sites are much better for that sort of thing. Comment left on 19 December 2008 at 09:18 by Garve
