Along with picture #2342, this photograph was found down the back of a radiator in Forsyth House during renovations. Perhaps it was taken in Forsyth House garden? Any ideas?

Hi Garve, Further thought on the subject resolved into a hunch that the boy in the photo might be either Jimmy or John Clements (Mrs. Slader's nephews). Having compared John in picture #602/picture #1940 with the boy in this shot, I'm almost certain that the latter is in fact John Clements. If so, the date would be around the mid 1940s. What do you think? By the way, did they have plastic shovels and inflatable paddling pools back then?
