Wrong year - must be later. Look at the digger registration - M was August 73- August 74. Plus the houses were allocated as Cromarty Town Council went out of existence in 1975.

The photo was taken the day the Queen came to Nigg to name Highland One, Took my camera to work to take photos of Britannia anchored off Cromarty harbor - must be 1974. [Date changed - Editor]

The year was definately 1974 as I was allocated one of the houses at the end of that year and my son Grant was the first baby born in Townlands Park in February 1975. The late John Macbean marked the occasion and Annie Ratcliffe went on to have the first baby girl which if my memory serves me well John also did the same for Zoe.
