6 living generations of Urquharts

Last year through your wonderful site I made contact with family we had no idea we had. Jean Newell is the 1st cousin of my late Grandfather who was the son of John Urquhart (see picture #2336) and Christina McTavish (see picture #2335). John and his father John both worked on the Poyntzfield estate as gardners. This photo was taken on the 3rd May 2010 and is 6 living generations of Urquharts.

From left ; Jaden (father of baby) Bruce ( great Grandfather of baby) holding Juriyah,Dorothy (Great Great Grandmother of Baby) and Lisa ( Grandmother of baby) and Jean Newell distant cousin of baby. We visited Jean Newell in June in Cromarty and found a very special part of our family, including Jeans lovely Daughter Ruth,and her Husband Iain who made our stay in Cromarty really special.
