David Alston holidayed in New York this October. Whilst there he took the opportunity to go skydiving and we're lucky enough to have this picture of our intrepid councillor in full flight (literally!).

In reality I had someone with a parachute strapped to me but Dave has cleverly doctored the photo. The word for jumping without a parachute isn't 'intrepid' - it's 'mad'.
