Donald Innes b1884 Rose Farm Cromarty. Donald was Dux of Cromarty Public School and recipient of the Hugh Miller Medal (both of which I now have). Graduate of Edinburgh University, he died in 1970 at his home in Elgin. Regarded as one of the country's leading experts on the English language and a leading authority on Burns.
