Sent on 20th July, 1938, it says:

"Hope all goes well with you! Perhaps I shall hear today. We had much rain yesterday but got a walk in the morning. Some days we have sat by the shore & can always see those fine hills in the distance. It is light all nigh. Love from us both, from Ethel."

and was sent to Miss Timewell, 110 Brondesbury Villas, London NW6.

My grandparents bought 23 Bank St in the late 1960s. It was on the corner of Bank St and Barclay St, but unfortunately burnt down around 1978.
