Sailor's Funeral on Bank St - c1910

Procession shown on picture 190 as it reaches the top of Bank St. Note the shop on the right and shutters on the window on the left.

Further down the right is a building where the supermarket now stands.
Picture Added on 01 January 2003.

In the 60s the shop on the right was Peter Low's barbers shop. As a small boy I'd be sent there to have my hair cut - a plank would be placed across the arms of the chair to raise me up.

This looks like a Winter photograph? Any one else agree? Plexus Media office opposite the 2nd to 4th sailors on the left column, just for added interest.

When did the supermarket arrive in Cromarty? Great picture though!
