Royal Yacht, Britannia

This is one of many photos taken by my mother and by me during the Queen's visit in 1964. I remember that I was on the pier "in charge" of a group of younger children!

I was one of your "younger children" on P1. Happy days!

As an anonymous poster pointed out, this can't be the 1964 visit, as HiFab hadn't been built then, and Highland 1 can be seen behind the Britannia. I do think I can remember the royal yacht visiting the firth a couple of times in the 70s, and this must be one of them.
