Hi Scott. Thanks for adding photo. These are my great-great-grandparents. Their daugher, Isabella, emigrated to SA and married a Bill Alexander. Their daugher, Ethleen Alexander, was my grandmother.

Think you have the wrong family, their children were Nellie, Margaret, Christina, David, Annie, Donald, but no Isabella.

Alasdair- I know who you are talking about, But these are not the right people. Found you people on census and they aren't the same. Sorry :)

According to the Cromarty album that photograph is Yankee Watson and his wife which is my great great grand father David Watson.

I know the photo says Yankee Watson but it is not. These were my great gran's grandparents. She had this photo and said it was her grandparents.

Thanks for the comments Scott, hard to know, isn't it? From the 1891 Census, I found they lived at 59 Gordons Lane. Obviously not far from where this photo was taken.

Not at all, this was taken at 65 Gordons Lane, where they lived. I have another of them so will put it on here as well :)
