Hello there, i am an sculpture student at glasgow school of art i have been researching light houses and this and to my utter astonishment and delight Robert Clyne just happens to be my great great great grandfather. these photos are of great interest to me both historically and personaly.

Ha ha isn't it funny...
I too have collected pictures of lighthouses all my life and never knew until recently that I have born 1804 George Mills in 1851 census was the Lighthouse keeper of Braehead Cromarty and many others!!!Buchanness Peterhead, Inch Keith, Boddam, Burrafirth etc... and then his son born 1832 William Mills was also a assistant lighthouse keeper ...if anyone has photos or more info please get in touch ...thank you :-) Comment left on 29 March 2010 at 22:44 by Tracey
