I think the young lad is ABU Shepherd? you'll need a cross check on that. C1950's would be him about 12yrs.old then?

The date, 1950, is only a guess. If you know when Abu was born then maybe we can be more accurate.

Hi Garve. Dad was Born in 1937. Jordan Looked at this photo and it seems like history repeating itself as he has just spent the last few months atop Arthur & Peter Birds roofs with Nick & Graham.

And a very good job they have made of it too! It must be in the DNA. Interestingly No.7 Braehead was last reslated in November 1967. Hugh Hossack replaced the sarking for £93.11s.0d and Donald Fraser slater from Conon Bridge did the roof and ridges for £188.4s.4d. In total that's about £5665.00 in modern money. How inflation has taken it's toll, in 2011 it was several times that. But in another fifty years it won't be my problem. Well worth it. Thank you Nick, Jordan and Graham.
