Cromarty Allotments - divide into plots and planting begins
Once clearing was completed, the grounds were divided up into 11 approximately equal plots of about 130m2 which were offered to Cromarty Allotments and Gardens Society members. The remaining plots were then advertised in the Post Office and were available to anyone who wanted to join the society. All remaining plots had gone within a single day! Some full plots were divide in half to enable involvement by those who only wanted a small patch of ground.
