Cromarty Allotments - Coldframes from Stornoway House windows
Stornoway House on Shore Street has been undergoing major renovation by its new owner, the author of the Rebus detective novels, Ian Rankin, who recently bought the house. All of the old windows were to be replaced, so we asked if we could have them to use as DIY cold-frames at the allotments.
