I think the little girl in the second row from the front, 5th from the left is my grandmother Catherine (Daisy) Watson born 1908 - parents William Watson & Isabella Skinner

The girl 2nd back row 2nd from left is my Mother Grace Skinner. She had a cousin called Isabella Skinner (b 1897) the daughter of Andrew Skinner and Annie Watson. I know there was a lot of Skinners and Watsons but is there a family connection here. Would you know Heather?

Hi Alex, I haven't got them in my tree so far. Do you have the names of Andrew Watson & Annie Skinner's parents? There is bound to be a family connection somewhere!

Heather, Jean Campbell, my mother, was born in 1908, so the dates fit.
Alex, now that you point your mother, I see your sister Mary's face.The resemblance is very strong.

Thanks Ruth - that makes me more sure this photo includes Daisy. It is a great photo - thanks for posting it. I really like the two boys popping their heads around the door - I wonder what they were up to!

Heather.....TheA/m Andrew Skinner was born 1875 and died 1935. Andrew's parents were (F)Andrew Skinner born 1845 and (M) Jane Hossack born 1844. I have no details for Annie Watson (Andrew's wife)but they had a daughter Isabella Skinner born 1897.
Ruth.....This resemblance is the first thing I noticed. If you look back to the photo of Mary You and Avril that you kindly sent me the likeness is very apparent. Talking about Avril I wonder if that's her Father 3rd (R) front row next to Walter Couper? One thing for certain is that if our Mothers were here now they would be able to name every one. Hi Alex - having done a bit of detective work, it turns out Grace Skinner and my grandmother Daisy Watson were 2nd cousins through their great grandparents Alexander Skinner and Ann Gow MacIntosh married 10 Nov 1825. Hope this helps!
