I remember the salmon fishing nets at the back of the Sutor. It was only the elite who got out to them. We were kept on the sweep nets either on Nigg beach or in front of the bothy. Hamish Stuart was the boss then & Jakey Tar the chief coble or sledge driver. We used to make good money at 15 years old. those were the days. Comment left on 21 July 2003 by Anon
