Each year Harold adds more stonework and another layer (or two) of whitewash to the walls. I remember back in the early 70s when the corner in the middle of the picture was only at ground level. Since then another 3 feet has been added. Comment left on 06 February 2003 by Colin Dunn
Harold Hossack was the son of Andrew who was the son of Robert Hossack, my Great Grandfathers brother My Great Grandfather Andrew moved to Leeds and was a miner. His son David was my Grandfather and his son Alexander my father. We met Harold for a brief moment in 2003 whilst doing some family research. Comment left on 21 May 2003 by Clive Alexander Hossack

My fathers name was Harold Hossack, he married my mother Ann Marie Martin in 1950 in the US. They divorced in 1952. I was named Robert Hossack. I know very liitle about my father's family. My 3rd Great Grandfather's name was Alexander Hossack born in 1782, son of Robert Hossack born in 1740 son of James Hossack born in 1693. I would love to know if you have any photo if you feel we may be related in some way.
