I remember Evelyn well! She was my next door neighbour for a few years and then we met again briefly in the 70s at a disco! Remember that Evelyn?

Girl second from left in middle row is Monica Roehling, top row second left Kenny Macfarlane, top row on right Keith Ross, third right front row Margaret Mackay.

I think the fourth from the left in the middle row is Christopher Rae, the schoolmaster's son.

The girl 7th from the left in the middle row is Elaine Howse.

The girl fourth from the right in front is Caroline MacPhee and the boy far left at the back is one of the Singh boys. Their parents had the cafe on Bank Street which is now a house. (Sandstones) I think the girl on the right of Monica Roehling might be Elizabeth MacIntosh who lived out at Shoremills.

It is me on bottom 3rd from right sitting I recognise Monica right away I think the girl next to Monica is Elizabeth sayed out the bottom road way near Jemimiville!

I am second from right standing in my party dress which I insisted on wearing that day. I was Anne Maciver. We left Cromarty the following year and moved to Fife.

I think the wee lad 2nd from right middle row is me Tony(archer)

Just found the picture gallery from looking at the Cromarty website. Don't have this school photo so fascinated to see it. I am Elizabeth McIntosh, standing between Monica Roehling and Christopher Rae. Think the girl 4th from right is Lydia Mahlitz.

Middle row third from the right is my older brother, Donald Mackenzie. We lived at Cromarty Mains at the time - our father (Bert) worked for Duncan Macpherson. My eldest brother John was in the year above Donald. I was in Primary 1 1963/64.

Many years ago! Memories are fading, but I do recall going with Gurmet to his parents house after school one day. I think Margaret Mackay was a neighbour at Cromarty Mains - my dad Bert, worked on the farm and her father Roddy was the grieve (?)

Tony that's not you in this class photo, you're in the class 2 photo of 1961- not sure but could be Billy Fraser in this one.
