Postcard taken from Icehouse - c1900
This shows the Salmon Bothy in it's stockade, and the old Coastguard cottage end on to the sea. At the bottom left of the picture you can see the curve of the ice house - nowadays it's totally covered in turf.
The foreshore is completely taken up with boats.
