1. Robert Patience 28 bayview crescent, son of Bob the local baker who worked with Jack Mackay, the groom in Matheson's.
2. Mina Robertson (MacDonald)also worked in Matheson's grocer and baker.

5. Dannie Fraser, uncle by marriage to the groom, manager of the Cromarty Arms and also manager of the Cromarty Football Club.

7. Mrs. Annie Brown (Mackenzie) teacher and sister of the bride.

25. Maureen Fraser daughter of Dannie and cousin of the groom (now Cameron, retired sister of rheumatology from Ross memorial hospital)
26. John Sinclair Mcalear Mackay, known as Jack, journeyman grocer with Matheson's, member and on the committee of many Cromarty clubs - bowling, snooker, badminton, drama, amenities and football - the latter highlight was when Cromarty won the cup in may 1962.
27. Babs - Waltrena Mclean Mackenzie, taken out of school when only 14 years to run her mother's drapery business in 1933 and she expanded the business and continued with the shop 'babs' until it closed down in 1984.
28. Mamie Fraser, her close friend who married Alistair Mackenzie, teacher in Cromarty junior secondary school.
29. Margaret Brown, niece of the bride, daughter of her sister Annie, who was evacuated to Cromarty from Glasgow during the war and still returns to Cromarty every year with her husband rev. Bill and has passed on her love of Cromarty to her three children.

I found this doing WW2 in school and no29 is definitely Margaret Shackleton (Gaga) it's the same smile!
She's my gran alright!

Spotted Grannie B, aunt Madge and uncle Alastair along with Isobel too.

Aunt Margaret was easy, she hasn't really changed
