Quite a few Cromarty people appeared as extras in the film. Anyone remember who? 'TV' Tommy of course. Anyone else? Comment left on 20 November 2003 by colin dunn
Bill Maclean from Church Street was in the Bothy Dance scene, I seem to recall. Comment left on 23 November 2003 by Calum Davidson

I bought a copy of the film, "Another Time, Another Place" because it is not available in USA. In fact, it wouldn't play on my dvd player so I watched it on my computer.
I have a question about the bothy dance scene.
Is the accordion player the local Colin Campbell or the actor Colin Campbell?
The actor is mentioned in the credits, but I'd be surprised if the actor took such a small role, so I'm guessing it's the local Colin Campbell... am I right?

Margaret ..I'm pretty sure it is Colin Campbell From Newton Farm..I watched it a few times ..and recognised him...now of course a comedian for many years with his own brand of Highland Humour !! Comment left on 25 March 2009 at 09:05 by John Macdonald
thank you for that, John! I am a big fan of 'our' Colin Cambell and I think I even recognized his accordion.
Someone wasn't paying attention when they wrote up the credits and cast members and ought to have given credit to the correct and well-deserving Colin Campbell and not the actor Colin Campbell.
I know this is what happened because there are links from the name Colin Campbell to all the movies he made.
I've read some reviews and what rubbish folk write.
One described Janie as being married to a RANCHER!!!! Oh Aye, the Cromarty ranchers!
I loved the scenes in the fields and could just feel all that weather!
I wish the credits listed all the local people who took part. I did recognize a few.

By the way, John, I always enjoy hearing your name and the plug you give for Andy Mack of Bluewater radio in Ontario.
About 2 years ago I won a Colin Campbell double cd by entering a competition on Andy Mack's show.
