This picture was found in a short booklet called 'September Joy' by Martha Mason, who was a teacher in the school in the mid 1930s. The booklet details how she met her husband, Ernie, and after marrying him lived in Wellington House.

Comments:
You will see Mrs Mason 2nd in from the left in picture #335, middle row, (under Schools),
when she was then a Miss Barclay, and taught French. She continued well into the 1950's
with private tuition in that subject
