Not 100% sure but it could be the stable down at what I know as the big house where Major and Mrs Shaw-MacKenzie lived when I grew up at Newhall Mains. Comment left on 24 February 2004 by Anon
Yes I think you are right anon this is I'm sure the home of Major Shaw-Mackenzie also known as "The Laird of Newhall". I went to Newhall School from 1948-1955 and used to go up to the "Big House" sometimes on my way home. The Laird's wifes maid made delicous scones.
