This shed looks like where Alick MacIntosh kept the tatties when we lifted them. Also kept in there was a tractor and our family car. Comment left on 19 September 2005 at 11:20 by Flora Thomson (nee Young)
Hi Flo look at picture again, it looks like a stand alone shed (shape of roof) the red door shed at the end of the house were on Brick walls where Dad kept tractor and yes the car too dont remember keeping tatties in there though there was a diesel tank in there too (can you print off picture and show Mam she is bound to know where it stood !!!!!!! I think this is the joiners workshop at Newhall Bridge. It was taken down in 1981, and I replaced it with a new one adjacent to this, which is now a garage. The people there on the right hand side are probably my ancestors John and Angus Munro. Comment left on 14 September 2011 at 22:57 by Donnie Munro
This was my grandfather's smiddy, he built it. Donnie's grandfather, John Munro, is to the right of the postman. Comment left on 17 August 2012 at 14:01 by Douglas Matheson
