I think this was planted as a commercial venture over 50 years ago - nowadays many locals come to gather daffies for their houses over Easter, although you have to brave the brambles and rose bay willow herb.

The Community Council are anxious to contact the owner, I understand a Major Charles Phipps. If anyone has any details, could they let me know?
