........ And the lord lieutenant in question was, of course, Roderick Stirling of Fairburn, who was knighted in Raigmore Hospital in 2007 shortly before his death.

Can I just say that Catriona was also fundamentaly important for many years in the lives of the young people of Cromarty as a wonderful Sunday School Teacher - thanks Catriona
