One of my ancestors was Customs House Boatman (1700s?). An 1800s Cromarty lighthouse keeper took a picture of my family in 1800s.

I'd love to say that the dark haired little one was my Mum, but I know the outfits to be a tad before my Mum's time. Regardless, we (the family) spent a lot of fun times on the links, lucky that Granny lived on Coastguard station. We even got a sneaky look within the Lighthouse, which was a huge special visit.
