I am looking for photo's, and information, on my family of Macleans' who originally came from Nairn. Gt. Grandfather Alexander Maclean had a business in Inverness of House Carpenters and Builders. My grandfather is James Maclean. Brother John Anderson Maclean who became a Minister in South Shields during the early 1900's. William bought the Hotel Lewis on Stornoway, Jane Teacher, Donald died in India aged 22 in the late 1800's, Ann McQueen Maclean, Margaret Alice (sometimes Alice), Mary Maclean who bought 5 Wemyss Place, Edinburgh, where my grandfather was a Solicitor, Elizabeth another Gt Aunt, Hector who was a Carpenter, Alexander who was a Carpenter and stayed in Nairn all his life and died in 1953, he had a daughter Jane who married a Morgan, and lived at Dallas Lodge. They originally lived at Park Lane Balblair Road, Nairn. I am desperatley trying to find information especially photo's, I only have a very old faded one of my grandfather. If anyone could help me I would very much appareicate it. Thanks - Faith
