Second from left is Neil McBeath. George & Ronnie are back and front respectively extreme right. Can't recall the names of the other two in the back row, but I remember them. Guy in front, I've no idea! I'm sure someone else will fill in the blanks.

Hi Hazel! Nope, it can't be Billy, he would have been too young then. God! Ronnie and Toi were only kids themselves!

Hi Iris!! Can't say I do remember a Raymond Robertson, but I'm sure you'll be right enough. The tall guy between Neil and George is really bugging me though! I know I know who he is, but there's no name coming to mind!!
Yes Hazel, I check the site a lot too. Nice to see comments from old friends and acquaintances as well as the pics. Comment left on 02 February 2006 at 08:12 by Jackie Bain

Hi Jackie I will try to jog your memory, Raymond is the son of Donnie and Mina, he has a brother Donnie and a sister Dorothy. I think he was better known as Nother. I will try and get the other names from Ronnie if he can remember them.

Thanks for trying Iris, but I have absolutely no recollection of that guy at all! I think it's because they're all older, and some people came and went in a very short timeframe back then. The tall guy with the black hair is really annoying me tho'. I just can't put a name to him!!
Hazel - I think you must be mistaken about your age!!!! I'm older than you, but Ronnie and George are older than me, so you can't possibly be the same age as both of them?? Comment left on 03 February 2006 at 10:32 by Jackie Bain

Thanks Iris, I remember Adam. He once fell in the harbour from the greasy pole at the regatta, knowing he couldn't swim, Ruth Newell had to jump in and save him!! Say hi and thanks to Ronnie for me.

Iris, was Raymond Robertsons nick name not Plum, lived in Allen Square, or is age catching up with me as well?
Comment left on 28 February 2006 at 12:29 by Anonymous
Raymond was not known as Plum, was that Dennis Morrison? All much younger than me but I think that was Plum. As for the age of Ronnie and George well they are over the big 50 let`s say and I should know!
Comment left on 28 February 2006 at 23:31 by Iris Winton
You're right Iris, Dennis Morrison's nick name was Plum.

I must look out a pic with Plum in it. Taken outside the school in the early sixties and put it in.

No Jackie, Plum was Dennis Morrison I`m sure of that.Ronnie and George are in their 50s so I think Hazel is much younger than that?Raymond lived in the house just down from the old coal store do you remember that?Maybe you`re too young to remember as it was used for this purpose some time ago

Front left is my brother Raymond Robertson. This must be earlier than 1968 as we left Cromarty in 1964.

George and ronnie were 11 in 1964-they look a wee bit older than that-

I was wrong Sue. We left beginning of `65 if that makes any difference.
Comment left on 06 January 2011 at 14:56 by Dorothy Ewen
Hi Sue, looking at picture again I thought it looked like Billy but could that be Ewan Garret? And to add I am 58! Same age as Ronnie and George give or take few months. Sue you must be around that yourself, we were all in same Class! And Ewan was older!
Comment left on 08 January 2011 at 08:37 by Hazel Pendle (nee Maclean )
Hazel, if you are 58 what makes you think, (as you stated earlier) that I am older than you? I am 54, and I'm pretty sure you are younger than me, so there's something wrong somewhere lol!!
Comment left on 08 January 2011 at 11:37 by Jackie Bain
Hi Hazel, that's not Ewan he's a couple of years older than us,must say it does look like tipper though but he would have been in the pram when photo taken.
